I have 2 contacts for companies that can handle the replacement of our windows – Riverside Glass and City Mirror and Glass – both out of Lowell.
I’m wondering if there is any other company that anyone has used successfully for our windows.
If anyone has any suggestions or info, please feel free to add them to the comments or e-mail me.
I am glad to see that Ocean Glass is NOT on the list of preferred window vendors. I had a terrible experience with them last year. I hired them to replace 5 windows. They did shoddy work. They broke a computer monitor and didn’t tell me about it. They needed to come back several times to re-install the windows. Their employees were completely incompetent. There was a different crew each visit. No exaggeration. They were awful.
I had JAD Contracting LLC out of Stoneham, MA replace my glass last year. Windows came out excellent. He came highly recommended by my real estate agent.

I have always used Riverside glass.they are on Appleton street right here in Lowell. they do great work. I’m thinking about having mine replaced.. if enough of us get together we could get a reduced rate. I think that is an option we should consider.
