The downtown Monster Bash is this Saturday with Trick or Treating for the youngsters, live music, and even a drone show.

Trick or Treating in our building will happen from 6:00 to 7:30 on the 31st as usual. Seeing the costumes and decorations is always fun! Flyers with details should be appearing on doorsteps later today.

The passenger elevator will be taken out of service on Monday the 26th for major upgrades. The work is expected to take 12–13 weeks barring any surprises. Folks will need to be patient during this period with people, pets, bicycles, and furniture sharing the freight elevator.

With the approach of winter, comes the threat of snow. For those people parking in the surface lot, it’s important to be aware of our Parking Rules regarding snow emergencies. Consider signing up for automated alerts from the LPD.

As mentioned in the previous post, National Grid offers a discount from November 1st through April 30th for people using heat pumps to heat their home. If you signed up in the past, you do not need to do so again and it should be noted on your bill. If you’re new to the building or missed it last year, it’s worth checking out.
