Update: Food has already been claimed.
Neighbors,
We have been getting Hello Fresh meal kits delivered for a few years now. The food has been good, and it saves trips to the grocery store.
They tried out a new shipping vendor this week, and it caused some chaos for them. As a result, we have a duplicate box being delivered to us today, and won’t be able to use it. Rather than waste the food, I’d like to see it go to someone who can use it.
If you’d like it, comment your unit number below and I will drop it off at your door this evening.
There are three meals (each for two people) in the box, plus an extra bagged salad. They are:
- Salsa Roja Chicken Enchiladas with Green Pepper, Pico de Gallo & Sour Cream
- Cavatappi Beef Ragu with Parmesan & Parsley
- New Zealand’s Chicken & Couscous Salad
- The bagged salad is a Sweet Kale Salad with Poppyseed Dressing & Dried Cranberries
Recipe cards are in the box and are all pretty easy to cook. If you’d like to see more details, the recipes can be viewed on the hello fresh website: https://www.hellofresh.com/pages/sitemap
I do not want to open and split up the box—I’d rather just drop the whole box off—so the first person to comment with their unit number that they can use it will get the box.
Thank you!
I can use that. Unit 216.
Seen a bunch of different meal delivery services showing up in the mailroom and having subsequently tried a few of them as well (HelloFresh is tasty!).
I’d also recommend checking out an app service called Mealime. It’s an app that looks just like the HelloFresh/BlueRibbons of the meal delivery world in allowing you to set dietary preferences and choose between some amazing recipes, but subsequently allows you to choose between local ingredient delivery or in-store pickup, specifically with all ingredients and portions broken out in a category based shopping list, which makes such ordinarily dreadful grocery shopping much faster/easier. Can’t recommend it enough, really changed the approach to meal prep and much, much cheaper than the inherent overhead of the fully boxed/shipped meal kits, though I admit that HelloFresh has a funny way of keeping your incentivized to stay on subscription!
PS: looks like the attached website link didn’t include in the last reply, so here it is directly: https://www.mealime.com
