Also—the city’s adding another festival to their calendar this year; next weekend marks the first Mill City Steampunk Festival (incidentally, Waltham’s Watch City Steampunk Festival is the following weekend).

Charlie and I got invited to do a dance presentation at Mill no. 5 (250 Jackson Street) on Saturday as part of their Spring Steam Faire, so we’ll be doing that at 1:00 and 2:30 if anyone’s interested in hearing a bit about Lowell’s dance history and seeing a few demos of what the locals would have been dancing a century or two ago.
