For those of you who hate to see clean, still-useful packaging and/or wall calendars get discarded, I’m told Household Goods in Acton will take them. If you’d like to pass some off to me to be donated, let me know.
And about the mailroom:
- First of all, thank you to those who have been picking up their packages promptly. It’s impressive to see the mailroom packed at 4:00pm only to see 2/3 of the packages gone by the next morning.
- Second, please continue to pick up your stuff ASAP, especially large items. We get over 100 packages a day this time of year and it’s a struggle to find room for everything.
- And finally, people need to be sure to double-check the address on their items before leaving the mailroom. A lot of people are pitching in to help sort (thank you!) and occasionally a package gets mismarked/misplaced.
