This Saturday is the annual Monster Stroll when kids are invited to Trick or Treat downtown from noon to 2:00. There’s also a costume contest and haunted house at Lowell High. For more info, click here.

A black, industrial, four-wheeled cart has disappeared from a resident’s parking space in the basement. This cart was privately owned and the owners would like the responsible party to please return it immediately. The building’s camera system will have recorded the removal of the cart but as long as it’s returned promptly no other action need be taken.

Just a heads up that there will be some local traffic issues Sunday between 9 am and 2 pm due to the Baystate Marathon. I couldn’t find a precise list of road closures, but there’s a map of the route here.

While I know it’s not the weather to be thinking about ultra-warm body wraps, I’m currently weeding out a few things and trying to get rid of a very nice, puffy, blue, mummy-style sleeping bag.
