For many of us, the Lowell Folk Festival next weekend is the highlight of the year. You can scroll down their “Directions” page for a list of road closures (also pasted in below) or you can check out this map to see the nearby closures and how they affect us.
- Arcand Dr. (Merrimack St. to Father Morissette Blvd) closing 7/22 at 7AM
- Cardinal O’Connell Pkwy. (Smith Baker side only, Market St. to Merrimack St.) closing 7/24 at 1PM
- Central St., John St., Kirk St., Lee St., Merrimack St., Middle St., Palmer St., Shattuck St., and Paige St. all close 7/24 at 3PM
- French St. (from John St. to Kirk St.) closing 7/24 at 7AM
- French St. (from Kirk St. to Arcand Dr.) closing 7/24 at 12PM
- Market St. (from Dutton St. to Palmer St.) closing 7/24 at 10AM
These street closures will be reflected in the Waze App.
Please note that the Roy Garage (Market St.) and the Joseph Downes Garage (John St.) will still be accessible by car throughout the weekend.
