Contractor Recommendations for Repairing Popcorn Ceilings?

A resident is requesting suggestions for a contractor to repair a popcorn ceiling. As someone who’s repaired minor damages to mine myself, I totally sympathize with wanting to find an experienced professional; it’s very difficult to make it match properly!

Please post any suggestions in the comments. Thanks!

  1. I agree with Sean Gleason. His unit’s repair by Mill City Plastering came out looking perfect. And I’ve had them also so another unit since then on the 1st floor. I have BEFORE and AFTER photos in case anyone wants to see the work they do. Their number is 98-935-1876. Please let Steve at Mill City know that Sean Gleason and Georgi May recommended him for the work you want done. You will NOT be disappointed!

  2. From another resident via email:
Years ago, I had hired someone I found in Angie’s, but I wouldn’t recommend him and I don’t remember his name. I do recommend that he use a popcorn machine. The guy I used had told me he had a popcorn machine but he never brought it here. He also didn’t repair all of the places I had asked him to repair so I had to finish it myself using a spray can I bought at Home Depot.

I then had to paint it myself.

    Make sure to get references.
