A little more information about the air conditioning outage at the beginning of this week: the problem was with the main circulating pumps\u2014the cooled water wasn’t making it to our units. Ron was able to fix this reasonably quickly once he knew about it. Steps are now being taken to tie the system’s temperature sensors to management\/maintenance’s cell phones so that they’ll know right away when there’s a problem (thank you, Craig, for suggesting it).<\/p>\n
When there are issues with building systems, simply contacting the web administrator (me) actually adds another layer to solving the problem. I’m happy to share information (when appropriate) and look for input from other residents but to get something fixed, please use the info on this site’s Contact page<\/a> to let\u00a0Cathy (royal.cathy@comcast.net<\/a>) know what’s going on\u2014she can’t fix what she doesn’t know about<\/em><\/strong>.
