Not surprisingly, there’s a parking ban currently in effect.  If your car is in the surface lot you need to move it to allow for plowing or risk getting towed.  Here’s the official word from the emergency alert system:

Parking Ban effective at 1PM February 7, 2018.  No parking on city streets from 1PM until Parking Ban is lifted.  Free parking beginning at 11AM at Ayotte, Downes and Lower Locks garages.  Residents will have two hours after ban is lifted to remove vehicles without cost.

Our garage isn’t one of the free ones listed but as of 15 minutes ago it was completely full anyway; only people with parking passes can get in.  That may change fairly quickly as more of the local workforce goes home because of the weather but be prepared to have to park elsewhere and walk a ways if you need to move your car.
